Members of the organizing committee will be in the airports (SVO, DME). They can explain in details how to reach IGEM RAS.

You can go by train to the nearest metro station from an airport. Then you have to reach POLYANKA metro station.

Conference venue.

The conference will take place in Zvenigorod. All the participants will live in a hotel "Universitetsky". There are around 50 km from Zvenigorod to Moscow. Regular bus and train connection is aviable.

The community has existed since the 12th century, although its first written mention is dated 1338. The town's name is derived from two roots, meaning "to ring bells" and "town". It may be translated as "the town where they ring bells". Indeed, when they rang bells in Zvenigorod, the sound was heard in Moscow, situated some 50 km to the east. More about Zvenigorod...

Public transport

Any train from "Belorussky vokzal" rail-road station to the station "Zvenigorod". From "Zvenigorod" rail-road station by bus #24 to the village "Volkovo". "Universitetsky" hotel is placed within 10-15 minutes walking distance from bus station.

Transfer

We plan to organise a shuttle bus from airport to the hotel. Please inform us in advance about time of your arrival!

Visa support

For EU citizens: You need a visa to go to Russian Federation. We can send you an official invitation. Please send us your name as it is written in the passaport, number of the passaport and date of your birth. Normally it does not take more then a week to get a visa from Russian embassy. But still it is better to do everything in advance.

For non-EU citizens: The procedure is slightly more complicated - In order to get an official invitation from us you have to send to the organising commettee an electronic copy of 1-st page of your passaport.
